EVERY 2 SECONDS

A girl becomes a child bride.

 4 OUT OF 5

Victims of human trafficking are girls.

That's why we're an official sponsor of Girl Up, a United Nations Foundation Charity - and have proudly chosen them for our 2016 giving back campaign.

More Compelling Facts:

Every additional year of school a woman attends increases her wages by an average of 12 percent.

If all women in developing countries finished high school, deaths of children under 5 would fall by 49%.

One third of girls in the developing world are married before the age of 18 and 1 in 9 are married before the age of 15.

The second most common cause of death for girls between the ages of 15-19 is complications from pregnancy and childbirth.

Follow the links below to learn more about, what I believe, is the number one challenge of our time.  We are 50% of the population and this has to stop.  Some of the stories will make you angry.  Some will give you hope.  At a minimum our goal is to build a society that will not turn a blind eye to this on-going tragedy and we will become champions of change for those without a voice.
